I'm thankful to live in Florida where Governor DeSantis has made it clear males who decide they want to be called female are not allowed to participate in female sports. I no longer have kids in school, but hopefully his mandates will hold and if I ever have grandkids, the rules will hold in my home state. I truly do not understand why parents in other states are not standing up for their girls and demanding their Governors do the same.

I understand being kind and trying to make the world easier for all people, but I do not comprehend allowing your daughters to play sports with boys who are stronger, faster and bulkier. This makes no sense to me. I can't imagine standing by and watching my daughter lose the opportunity for scholarships and accolades just because I don't want to rock the boat. Parents should be in the streets rioting.
Last night, a man single-handedly carried his high school in Minnesota to a Class 4A Softball Championship.

He pitched 14 shutout innings in back-to-back games to defeat the defending state champs.
14. Shutout. Innings.
You are a shameful, sorry excuse for a man, @GovTimWalz pic.twitter.com/MGmBRPXdb7
Have parents in Minnesota lost all their brain cells? My Dad worked for Hormel Foods for 37 years and their headquarters is in Minnesota. I know there are a bunch of good old boys and girls working in those plants. I know there are some people with sense in Minnesota. Why aren't they demanding this stop immediately? Even if it isn't your kid, there is right and wrong and this is clearly very wrong.
He looks so incredibly vulnerable and marginalized as he…forces himself into girls’ spaces and dominates them in sports.

Shame on the parents who allowed their girls to play on the team with this male pitcher. I know they did it because it clearly gave their daughters the advantage against other teams and now their kid will be a part of a state championship softball team. But at what cost? They should hang their heads. It was an ill gotten title and every player on the team is a cheater. The coach is a cheater. Every person involved is a cheater. None of them should be proud of this win. It's no different than when Communist countries used to dress men up like women to win at the Olympics or when countries lie about the ages of boys at the Little League Championships. It's terrible sportsmanship and character.
Had all the parents of actual girls on that softball team refused to allow their daughters to play with a boy who was cheating, the school would have had no choice but to bench the young man in order to have a team. Unfortunately, there weren't enough parents of character. That's sad. Furthermore, it's disheartening the other schools did not just refuse to play cheaters. That's how you stop this. All the other schools come out and refuse to play a rigged game. There is a lack of backbone in our society.

I am sorry but I am tired of these stories. There is a simple solution and it’s driving me nuts that very few teams do it. Just refuse to play! It’s that simple! If there is a man in the other team. DON’T PLAY!

It's a sad commentary on our culture. Parents no longer lead and Coaches no longer do the right thing.

The weakest parents allow their daughters to join in and pretend it's normal.
