Kamala Was the 'Last One In the Room' With Biden, and She Should Be the FIRST to Answer Questions

I was only able to make it through the short four-minute clip of the Hur Report audio dropped by Axios last night. It's that bad. Biden pauses, stumbles his way through answers, and is unable to remember things when his son Beau was deployed or when he died.

It exonerates Robert Hur, who was viciously attacked by media and Democrats alike, including Vice President Kamala Harris. You know, the woman who was a heartbeat away from the presidency. She called Hur's report 'gratuitous, inaccurate, and inappropriate' and continued:

'The way that the president's demeanor in that report was characterized could not be more wrong on the facts.'

'When it comes to the role and responsibility of a prosecutor in a situation like that, we should expect that there would be a higher level of integrity than what we saw.'

But while Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson are out shilling their book, and various Leftists are trying to cover their butts for their role in the greatest scandal in American presidential history, I notice the conspicuous absence of Kamala Harris.

Were I in a situation to do so, I would be knocking on Kamala Harris' door every day. Dogging her footsteps in public. Pestering her every public appearance nonstop with two straightforward questions: 'Now that we've heard the Hur audio, why haven't you apologized to Robert Hur? Why didn't you invoke the 25th Amendment?'

Kamala Harris had an obligation under the Constitution to remove Joe Biden from office when he was unfit to serve. She failed to do that. American voters deserve to know why. Not just because she failed as Vice President, but because she wants another chance at the Oval Office.

The fact of the matter is this: the only person who did his Constitutional duty was Robert Hur. Every single anonymous Biden cabinet member, every Democratic Representative and Senator, and every journalist diminishing the media's role in this cover-up did not.

Kamala Harris bragged about being the 'last person in the room' with Joe Biden on the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.

Her name was appended to the Biden-Harris administration.

She told 'The View' she wouldn't have done anything different.

But it's clear she should have.

We have no idea who was running this country. Amid reports that Joe Biden was having cognitive issues dating back to as early as 2017, not one person in the media has bothered to dig into who was calling the shots in the Oval Office. Given the frequent use of the Auto Pen, it's clear it wasn't Joe Biden.

And that's a problem. It creates a Constitutional and legal morass that we will—we must—navigate.

It was a yet-unnamed cabal of unelected bureaucrats and aides who had no business and, more importantly, no authority to do so. In 2020, voters cast their ballots for Joe Biden and not the puppet masters pulling his strings.

Every time Donald Trump took a wonky step, media were quick to raise the alarm bells about his cognitive decline, and the potential 'Constitutional crisis' that would be spawned by having a president declared non compos mentis.

Meanwhile, we spent four years with a Commander-in-Chief who didn't know when his son died.

I don't know why Kamala Harris was so recalcitrant to pull the 25th Amendment trigger. I can speculate, though.

I said throughout the campaign that it was clear Kamala wanted the prestige and authority that came with the Resolute Desk, but none of the responsibility or hard work. Is that why she didn't bother?

Were the people actually running the White House so put off by the prospect of handing control over to Team Kamala that they made sure she didn't oust Biden? It's possible. There was tension between the Biden and Harris camps during her truncated election campaign.

Or did the unnamed shadow government realize how awful Kamala was, and remains, that they weren't going to let her do her job (assuming she had any interest in doing it anyway)?

Those are all things that can, and should, be asked.

Monday morning, the GOP-controlled House should open up hearings into the Hur Report and subpoena every member of the Biden cabinet.

But first, and foremost, they must demand that Kamala Harris show her face in Washington to tell them -- under oath -- what she knew, and why she failed to do her job.
